Fun Fact: Queen Charlotte of England is depicted on the Netflix series "Bridgerton" and "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story," the latter of which was inspired by real-life events. Whether you're a history buff, an art enthusiast, or a foodie, the Queen City has something for everyone.

Charlotte is home to Johnson C. Smith University, a historically Black college founded in 1867, significant for African American culture and education.

Applicants who plan on furthering their education will be able to compete for our top monetary scholarship award. To apply for this scholarship, please fill out the following information.
